I am living and working in Düsseldorf. I moved here after the war began in my home country, which changed my life in many ways and taught me to appreciate what truly matters.
I have experienced great loss, but I try to carry it with quiet strength and kindness. One of the things closest to my heart is returning to my homeland to visit my great-grandfather — those moments remind me of my roots and give me a sense of peace.
