20 characteristics of European women. Part 1
1. European women take a realistic view of life. And they ensure such life on desired level by themselves. Almost no one of them live with illusions that they will surely meet "fat cat" who will solve all their everyday problems. Even in marriage with rich man European woman are considered equivalent partners because they didn't sit on their hands but they developed in professional and personal aspects.
2. European women acquire independence much earlier than our girls. It is not dishonourable for girl who studies law or economy to make some money on the side working, for example, as waitress in cafe. And it is really bad form to scrounge off the parents till finishing of study, getting serious work or marriage.
3. European women, as a rule, never jump from ancestral home to husband's home. They sure purchase their property and prefer to reserve it from themselves even getting married. Who knows, how it will all get on...
4. By the way, in Europe nobody hurries with marriage (average age of getting married for European women 26-28 years). And for what? Think yourself, if a girl is self-sufficient and financially independent she doesn't need man in the capacity of lifesaver. She can thoroughly and carefully chose man with whom she will feel herself really good.
5. In Europe only Asian and Latin American girls give birth in the age of 18-20. The rest use most active years for career and personality formation. My friend 37-year-old Italian who works in famous European fashion house tells that among his colleagues - European women only few think about children before 30. They take care of health, live in favorable ecological conditions and they give birth after 30 and after 40 without problems.
6. Though it is a big question what is for real with European women's health (in any case with digestive system). During lunch and often for breakfast they usually eat sandwiches with no drink. Every day! Even Italian girls and Frenchwomen - mamma mia!
7. but if woman established herself in profession she doesn't feel complexes that she can't prepare dinner of three courses and can knit socks. It's not her business. And there are specially trained people for knitting and cooking.
8. Contrary to popular opinion insignificant per cent of European women are liable to diet mania. One corpulent but very charming 28-year-old public relations expert from Amsterdam shared her observations with us: "Some men like thin, some like girls a bit stout. But all men without exceptions want to meet European women which are inharmony with themselves, which are satisfied with their bodies and eat with gusto in restaurant".
9. Independence of European women extend to such questions as buying drinks in bar. For example, company of girls who have good time in night club can accept drinks from guys, but next portion girls will buy themselves for them and guys. By the way, their men get used to this and don't be surprised if company from three fellows will pay for your cocktail for three times and for the fourth one of them will say: "It's your turn, darling".
10. European women are distressed that their men are lack of romanticism. There are low prices on flowers in Holland but men present them only on holydays. Ladies of that place are not spoilt with special gifts from admirers. And if European man will start to spend money on woman that means that he is planning to marry her and he makes long-term investments.
