🧚♂️Applause, anticipation… the show is about to begin. “And now on stage… the one you are here for!” A second, another one, the music starts… but I don’t dance. All because today I want to tell you a little about myself. I am bright and confident, I burn as if I have nine lives and not a single one saved for later. Lights, smoke, music, fire — I’ll be honest, I love it. I love being in the center of attention, moving to the music, feeling the way people look at me… and how with every movement the air becomes harder to breathe.
But you know… quite often, when the applause becomes just an echo in my head, I return home, take off all this shining armor, put on simple knitted socks from a Ukrainian market — yes, those cozy ones with little deer 😄, make jasmine tea, turn on a movie — Juno… and wait for one favorite, awakening phrase: “The best thing you can do is find someone who loves you for who you are.”
In that moment I think about a man with whom I don’t have to keep my posture perfect… but can be in those same socks, without makeup and with a sincere smile. To take off not only the stage image, but everything unnecessary — and remain a woman you want to touch… a woman you want to love!
Not so long ago I was just a girl with silly jokes and juice in my backpack, and today I am a woman with my own character, a mother of a 9-year-old daughter, and I know exactly what I want and why I am here. I didn’t come here for applause, I came for quiet happiness… and for that look that gives goosebumps along a damp back.
You exist. You are looking at me… while I move gracefully, softly swaying my hips, and I know — you will come. I feel your wild and deep gaze…
The music is still playing, but this is far from a show — this is the real me, Svetlana.
